November 19, 2013, will forever go down in history (my history) as the day that I received my very first acceptance letter.
From no other than…Southern Adventist University!
I could be complacent because it’s the school that my dad works at, and getting accepted there was a given.
But…check it out. I am on the margin of an exhilarating journey; the greatest part about it all is the abundance of opportunity presented to me. Higher education is directly at my finger tips. In spite of all the anxiety regarding college applications, I am certain of this, that I am incredibly blessed, and I will walk away in about 4.5 years with my passport to the entire world (aka diploma).
